Replace the accumulator and the spring. Place the new supplied o-ring into the hole and lubricate for easy re-assembly.

Replace the cap and snap ring.

Clean and re-install thimble filter.

Now on to the valve body. Clean out the valve body with lots of break clean and a blow gun.

Check to be sure that all of the valves move in and out freely and snap back into place when the tool is removed. If they do not easily snap back, first attempt to throughly clean the valve to get it moving again..

Remove the cover and spring out of this accumulator to clean out. Any contamination build up in the pan will also be in here.

Your kit should have come with a number of gaskets be sure to match up the new gasket to the old one to be sure that you have the correct one.

Replace the plate and the other matching gasket. You can use the bolts to help line up the plates and gaskets.

Place the other plate on top of the gasket and tighten down to 100in/lbs.

Place the valve body in place.

The manual valve needs to be assembled as shown.

Tighten the valve body down and torque to 100in/lbs starting from the center and working your way out. Be sure to not forget the detent on the rooster comb, the spring that gives you the shift resistance.

Replace the filter making sure that you put the gasket between the valve body and the filter.

Use the new gasket supplied in the kit and tighten the pan back on the transmission.

Slide the speedo gear back on the output shaft. Don't forget the locking clip.

Correctly assembled.

Before replacing the tail shaft cover you will want to install the governor.

Slide the governor in as shown.

You will want to be sure that the gears fit correctly in one another.

Replace the cap, if you find that there is a decent amount of play you can tap in the center of the cover as we have done here.

Install the modulator valve, making sure that you have the spring on the valve.

It should look like this before the modulator is installed.

Install the modulator, making sure that you use a new supplied o-ring.

Remove the old o-ring from this collar and replace with a new one supplied in your kit.

Slide back onto the output shaft as shown.

Replace the o-ring on the tail shaft cover.

Replace the seals on the speedometer gear.

Place back into the case.
-
Place new seals in the dip stick and kick down holes.
